Using Akari

By using Akari, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. You may use Akari for personal, lawful purposes and in accordance with the rules of Apple, Google, and any connected service.

You remain responsible for your device, your connected accounts, and the accuracy of information you enter.

Connected services

Features that use Apple Health, Google Health, Fitbit, Pixel Watch, weather providers, or other third-party services depend on those services and the permissions you grant. Their own terms and privacy policies also apply. Akari is not responsible for outages, changes, or inaccuracies originating from a third-party service.

Beta software and availability

Pre-release versions may contain bugs, change without notice, or lose data. Features may be added, changed, suspended, or discontinued. Please keep independent copies of information that is important to you.

Subscriptions and purchases

Akari Premium adds food logging, readiness and Health Age, and is sold through the App Store under these terms and the Privacy Policy:

• Akari Premium is an auto-renewing subscription: €4.99 a month or €39.99 a year, prices shown in the App Store at checkout for your country.
• Both plans start with 14 days free; the subscription renews at the end of the trial unless cancelled at least 24 hours before.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation; the subscription renews automatically at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel in your Apple Account’s Subscriptions settings; deleting the app does not cancel it.
• During the TestFlight beta, Premium is included and nothing is charged.

Acceptable use and ownership

Do not misuse Akari, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it to violate another person’s rights. Akari’s software, design, writing, branding, and original content remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the service.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, Akari is provided “as is” and without warranties of uninterrupted availability or error-free results. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.

To the extent permitted by law, Akari is not liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from use of the service or reliance on its informational output.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as Akari evolves. The effective date above will change, and significant updates will be communicated in the app or on this site. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
