Akari turns private health data into a calm, human reading, then lets you get on with your day. It brings your sleep, movement and food together on your iPhone and explains in plain words what they mean, measured against your own usual days rather than anyone else’s.
Akari is a mirror and a translator, not a scoreboard. Health should feel understandable without feeling clinical, competitive or urgent, and it stays private: there is no account, and health data stays on the iPhone.
Akari is made by a young German company that cares about your health, not about your data.
The name
Akari is one word with a capital A: Akari, never AKARI or akari. Where it helps, say “the Akari app” or “Akari for iPhone”.
Logo
The mark from the app icon above the wordmark. Each of Akari’s five themes has its own colours and its own touches: bolts, leaves, bubbles or drops, and none for Plain. Take the version made for the background it sits on.
The mark
The mark alone, as the app icon draws it, for small spaces and square crops.
App icon
The icon as it sits on the Home Screen, on white in light mode and on black in dark mode. Please use it as it is, without changing its colours or corners.
Colours
Four themes are named after the landscape painted for them, and Plain has no painting. Each mark runs from its light colour to its dark one, the deep colour is the theme’s band, and the cream sets the wordmark on it. Tap a colour to copy it.
Type
Akari speaks in New York, Apple’s serif, in the app and on this site: its heaviest weight for headlines and the wordmark, the regular one for reading.
Using the logo
- Give it room. Big or small, it should never feel cramped.
- Keep it as it is: no new colours, outlines or shadows, and no stretching.
- Put the version made for dark backgrounds on dark ones, and the one for light backgrounds on light ones.
- Please don’t use it in a way that suggests Akari endorses you or works with you.
